Dr. Dolores M. Torres retired as President and Chief Executive Officer of CARD Bank, Inc., a member of CARD-MRI in 2015. In her 31 years with CARD MRI she directly led CARD Bank for more than 18 years where she was responsible for the overall management of the bank and its branches by ensuring that the design and implementation of its microfinance program as well as its other products and services are focused primarily to the target clientele living below poverty line following and supporting the mission and vision of CARD MRI of poverty eradication and nation building. She also supervises the implementation and application of policies and procedures as approved by the Board of Directors in the different branches and ensures that the bank complies with all the rules and regulations governing the rural banking sector as set by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. Under her leadership, CARD Bank has been consistently awarded the Financial Inclusion Champion of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas from 2011 to 2015.

Currently, Dr. Torres is serving as the Vice Chairperson and Senior Management Adviser of the CARD Bank. Too, she was appointed as the Dean of the Department of Business and Management of the CMDI. Thus, she helps the CMDI management in ensuring that the courses being offered at CMDI are unique and geared towards poverty eradication through education. She strongly advocates for the CARD MRI\'s \"One Graduate per Member\'s Family\".

Dr. Torres holds an Executive MBA from AIM, Makati City. She also completed a Key Executive Management Course from Harvard Business School, USA. And completed her Doctor of Philosophy from Southeast Asia Interdisciplinary Development Institute (SAIDI), in Quezon City, Philippines. She is also a certified ITIL passer with Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management as well as ITIL Intermediate Certificate in Service Strategy.

Dr. Torres has also been appointed as Faculty-In-Charge by the Development Academy of the Philippines and granted as On-Call Mentor for the Microfinance Cognate Modules of the Master of Arts in Organization Development of the Southeast Asia Interdisciplinary Development Institute (SAIDI).
