Dr. Maria Victoria R. Castillo is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Continuity Manager (CCM) from NIBCM, Las Vegas, Certified Business Continuity Practitioner of Disaster Risk Inst. Int\'l, USA with MBA degree from AGSB and PhD in OD from SAIDI. She has been a part-time faculty of AGSB for more than 18 years with teaching assignments on Strategic HRM, Principles and Dynamics of Management, Strategic Management panel and other elective subjects. She also teaches in the MBA and DBA programs of Jose Rizal University GSB, and programs of Insurance Institute for Asia and the Pacific (IIAP), Association of Insurers and Reinsurers for Developing Countries (AIRDC), St. Peter Group of Companies, and Disaster Risk Institute(DRI) USA & Business Continuity Management Association of the Philippines (BCMAP).

Dr. Marivic is the former Chairperson of Business Continuity Management & Disaster Risk Management of the Yuchengco Group of Companies (YGC) Council and former Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC). She has a wealth of experience in many areas in the Bank such as Risk Management, Crisis Management, Business Continuity Management, Information Security, Re-engineering & Change Management, Human Resource, Operations, and Service Quality Management. She was an awardee from Continuity & Insurance Resilience (CIR) Magazine, London on Business Continuity Awards 2016 \"Synergistic Approach of Yuchengco Group of Companies (YGC) for Destructive Earthquake\". She was given also a Highly Commended award in Business Continuity Strategy of the Year category which was titled: \"Crisis Management & Business Continuity Management of Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation\" from the CIR Magazine, London in 2013.
