Gil F. Cacha is currently the Operations Manager in Accenture [a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, with more than 249,000 people serving clients in more than 120 countries]. Before this, he was also the Financial Planning Manager (2000-2005), Treasury Manager, (2005-2008) and AP Shared Services Manager (2008-2011) in Astec, International Ltd. - ROHQ [a worldwide and leading supplier of standard, modified standard, custom AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies from 1 watt to 18,000 watts. A wholly owned subsidiary of Emerson (EMR:NYSE), the firm is headquartered in San Diego, California and is dedicated to advanced research and development, followed by sophisticated manufacturing automation and in-process testing to deliver power system solutions], City Accountant and City Trade and Industry Officer in the City Government in Calapan, Store Manager (1991-1995) in Mercury Drug-Calapan Public Market, Station Manager (1990-1991) in Calapan Caltex Station, and an Audit Staff (1989-1990) of Punongbayan and Araullo.

In mentoring students, his experience, professional involvements and career, bridge learned concepts and practical application in various settings.

He is also co-Chair of Professional Development Committee of PICPA- Western Manila Chapter [PICPA- Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountant]. Gil is also the founding President of the Oriental Mindoro Accountants Association Inc. and served at its helm from November 1996 up to May 1999.

Gil holds a PhD in Organization Development (2008) from SAIDI School of Organization Development. He also completed degrees in Master in Management (2000) from AIM and in Bachelor of Science in Accounting (1988) from De La Salle University. He is currently completing his Certified Lean Master Program from Neville Clarke Philippines. He has completed his Certified Six Sigma Black Belt from Ateneo Professional Schools in 2008 and his Diploma on Supply Chain Management from De La Salle Professional Schools in 2008.
