Currently Reynaldo T. Casas is the President of nvvogt Philippines, focused on building ground-mounted solar plants at utility-scale around the country. The company successfully built in year 2015 a 6.23 MW p solar plant in Mindanao, Philippines. In 2016, nvvogt built two more solar plants in Tarlac, Philippines with a 9 MW p and 7 MW p respectively. The company is headquartered in Singapore, though its Chairman is based in Germany, with on-going solar projects in India, Thailand and Indonesia.

This year, Reynaldo T. Casas was elected as the 1st President of \"Confederation of Solar Developers of the Philippines Inc.\" or CSDP, a conglomeration of solar proponents with solar plants operating around the country and whose goal is to represent the solar industry in relation to government regulatory bodies as well as serve as channel of information for foreign technology providers.

Last year, he was elected as an Independent Board of Director of a publicly listed company called Basic Energy engaged in oil, petroleum exploration as well as in renewable energy. Regie\'s career spanned working with multinationals such as IBM, Kodak and was based in Hongkong for 5 years working with an American Telephone Company called BellSouth International as its Business Development Manager. Upon returning to Manila, he co-founded a company with one of the leading local conglomerates called Adlcl Inc. and eventually opened ten (10) provincial offices Nationwide.

Academic Background: His academic accomplishments include a PhD or Doctorate degree in Organization Development at the Southeast Asia Interdisciplinary Institute or SAIDI, where he currently sits as one of its Board of Trustees. He finished his Masters program in Business Economics at the University of Asia and the Pacific. His college degree was in Liberal Arts & Commerce at the San Beda College graduating as a Gold Medalist in Academics.
